Kumbhalgarh History Under the Government of King Rana Kumbha, the kingdom of Mewar had ex-from Ranthambore to Gwalior. The kingdom was also included extensions of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. 84 strongholds defended Mewar from Enemies. Rana Kumbha had designed 32 Room's Fort for him, which you know as a Kumbhalgarh, from all the strongholds, which were made by Rana Kumbha, Kumbhalgarh was the most impressive, the most famous with a wall of 36Km. The fort is 90 km from Udaipur; it is the most important fort after Chittorgarh.   Kumbhalgarh Fort is located at the Aravalli Hills in the Rajsamand district near Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. It is a World Heritage site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Kumbhalgarh was born in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha and was also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great king, and warrior of Mewar. Occupy by the Government in 19th century, the fort now open to the public and each night
